PTFE Encapsulated Stainless Steel Reinforced Gasket incorporate a 304SS perforated metal insert which prevents cold flow that occurs with regular gaskets causing leaks and loose connections and must be regularly retightened. The metal insert also provides critical blowout-proof protection (gaskets exceed proof pressure of ANSI 150lb flanges). Teflon encapsulated gaskets can be reused 20-30+ times compared to other gaskets, they arealso self-aligning, FDA approved and offer the widest temperature range -54°C (-65°F) to +204°C (+400°F)
PTFE Steel Lined Gaskets can be used in nearly all applications to seal metallic flange joints. They are far superior and cost effective compared with other designs such as envelope gaskets as they are reusable many times. Their design is extremely robust and they are very easy to install offers superior performance than a standard virgin PTFE gasket as its inherent stainless steel core prevents cold flow of the PTFE which can lead to joint failure.

Depending on the construction ( of insert ) they are suitable for use in many sectors. Our supply program consist of Gaskets Body made from either modified PTFE or from expanded PTFE with either Tang or corrugated metallic ring type insert made of either SS 304 or, SS 316 materials.
